30-Day Paleo Challenge: Day 22

22 days strong. Think you can’t do it? You can.

  • Breakfast: Almonds, blueberries, Iced Venti Americano
  • Lunch: 1 hamburger, 2 bacon strips, lettuce, tomato
  • Snack: Iced Venti Americano
  • Dinner: Dry ribs (half rack), asparagus, orange wedges, lemon wedges
  • Snack: Almonds, carrots, tomatoes, raspberries

I cannot eat enough ribs. Could have easily polished off the full rack I ordered. Leftovers for breakfast.

Apparently I cannot consume enough caffeine, either. An Iced Venti Americano includes four shots of espresso. Other than coffee, this is one of the only paleo-friendly beverages available at Starbucks. I just get the largest size.

I drink coffee and espresso because I enjoy it and it gives me a kick in the pants. I would not say it is an essential component to get me through the day (from an energy point of view), but I haven’t tested this either. I drink coffee/caffeine every day.
